Clan Dyken -Revive the Beauty Way Tour 2018
In Support of the Annual Food and Supply Run to the Big Mountain/Black Mesa Region of the Dine’ (Navajo) Nation in Arizona
It’s time to visit Grandmother again. With your help, we will travel to the Big Mountain/Black Mesa region of the Dine’ (Navajo) Nation to bring food, supplies, firewood, and labor to elders and families. These earth defenders have been resisting forced relocation since 1974 due to their opposition to the world’s largest coal strip mine. We’re excited to connect with an extended network of activists from around the globe who support the original people of Turtle Island. The people who have seen climate change and the social unrest we are experiencing coming for a long time.
To raise funds for the journey and awareness of the issue, Clan Dyken has been setting out on the annual Revive the Beauty Way Tour through the west coast of the United States for 26 years.
The tour is not only how we raise funds but also the energy it takes to get all the stuff out to the remote regions of the Dine Nation. We truly depend on you the people to make this happen.
If you can’t make it to a show you can still contribute here: https://www.facebook.com/donate/735655773435501/
